Abstract
At this time technology has developed very rapidly so that information and services and news in any form ranging from education, culture, politics, economics to entertainment in its development covers the global scale so it is easy to get via the internet. Based on Law number 14 of 2008 which discusses public information disclosure, all information relating to government must be conveyed to the public openly. This research aims to find out the quality of the Tangerang City Communication and Information Service website in realizing public information openness, the quality of the Tangerang City Diskominfo website as a disseminator of transparency in public information openness and to find out what information is available on the official Tangerang City Diskominfo website. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques used including data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results found from this research show that based on the indicators above, the quality of the Tangerang City communications and information services website is good, although it is still less than optimal because there are several things that need to be improved. The website used to spread open public information has met its goal of disseminating information. information from the usability indicators of the Diskominfo website still has data that is not published but already has an interface or operation that is easy but solid, in terms of the quality of the information it has gone through several stages to get accurate information or data in terms of the completeness of the information it has met the requirements Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia Article 13 of 2017, as well as the interaction of the services provided, which fully meet user needs but also with adequate security so that users can access information freely or even with the help of the website admin of the Tangerang City Communication and Informatics Service.
