Abstract
TikTok is not only a social media platform for entertainment but also a medium that can disseminate information. The emergence of various fandom cultures aligns with the development of the entertainment industry and popular culture. One prominent fandom community is the JKT48 fans, known JKT48 Terbaik Sedunia (JTS). This research employs a descriptive approach with qualitative methods and utilizes McMillan's interactivity theory. The study aims to analyze the interactional messages found in TikTok social media, specifically JKT48 Terbaik Sedunia (JTS) account, using content analysis methods.
This research explores how interactions between fans and the content uploaded by JKT48 shape communication dynamics within the fandom community. TikTok, as a social media platform that emphasizes audio-visual content, allows users to interact directly through comments, likes, and video sharing. The analysis results indicate that the messages conveyed not only serve as entertainment but also create a space for fans to express their identities and build social relationships. Furthermore, the interactions occurring in the comment section reflect various emotional responses and personal experiences from users, enriching the meaning of the produced content.
