The decline in the value of Pancasila has become a consideration for the heirs of the nation. Efforts to prevent the erosion of the fundamental values of Pancasila from society's life must involve instilling these values in the children, the future generation of the nation. In this case, appropriate and targeted learning media becomes one of the important references for the successful transfer of knowledge from teachers to students. This research focuses on the development of animation-based media using Powtoon for the subject of Pancasila Education in the second grade of elementary school.

This research produces engaging animated content that aligns with the curriculum, to assess the effectiveness of animation in enhancing learning outcomes and to explore students' responses to the new media format. This research uses the R&D method with the ADDIE development model, which consists of 5 stages. The components in the development of this Powtoon animation media include the design of the animation media, which is taken and created from Canva guidelines and the Powtoon platform, as well as incorporating games into the development of this media for the students. The product trial conducted after the media has been revised and developed will be tested on the second-grade students of SDN 02 Ampeltendo. The types of data used in this research are twofold: qualitative data and quantitative data. The data collection techniques employed in this study include observation, interviews with second-grade teachers at SDN 02 Ampeldento, questionnaires for second-grade students at SDN 02 Ampeldento, and documentation. The data analysis methods used in this research involve both qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis.

This research has undergone validation from experts. In the learning material, a score of 90% was achieved, and the validation of the learning media received a score of 88%. The results of both validations can be implemented in elementary schools as a supporting tool for the learning process. From the implementation of media in the second grade of SDN 02 Ampeldento, it is known that students actively participated in the teaching and learning activities and showed enthusiasm in the learning process, resulting in an average score of 90 on the evaluation questions given.
