The practice of marriage mut'ah just kept going, despite the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) has issued a fatwa mengharamkannya. In this country, marriage mut'ah still happened from year to year and has always been a controversy among the public at certain times. Marriage mut'ah or better known as temporary marriages used as a medium to seek sexual satisfaction from the men and women to obtain material from the side. Marriage is similar to buying and selling, or leasing the genitals that can plunge them in prostitution in the valley. Women who marry by way of marriage mut'ah essentially only to satisfy lust mere "fun in the moment". In addition, justify mut'ah can open huge opportunities for women to practice adultery in the name of religion. This study aims to determine the motivation of married women by way of marriage mut'ah and self- perception (self perception) of women who undergo mut'ah marriage. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the three women who have married within a certain time mut'ah as research subjects and research was conducted in the District of Apex, Pasuruan held in February-March 2007. Data collection methods used are free guided interview technique. Based on research results to three subjects, it can be concluded that the motivation of women married by way of marriage mut'ah due to the high sex drive and motivation to attempt to legalize adultery, psychological protection, love and love, the fulfillment of economic satisfaction, self esteem and confidence, self-protection. Self-perception of women who undergo mut'ah marriage in general in conducting self-evaluations tend to assess the negative and self-attribution of two subjects including the combination of internal-external attribution, but one person subjects including internal attribution and self-awareness on the two negative subjects but one subject have a positive self-awareness.
