Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee performance, partially and simultaneously. The sampling technique in this study was total sampling. Data collection was obtained by distributing questionnaires. This study is an explanatory research type with a quantitative approach and primary data sources. The analysis method in this study is scale range analysis and multiple linear analysis. The results of the scale range analysis indicate that motivation is included in the sufficient category, work discipline is included in the high category, employee performance is included in the high category. From the multiple linear regression test, motivation shows a partial and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a partial effect on employee performance. Motivation and work discipline have a simultaneous effect on employee performance. Motivation is the dominant variable influencing employee performance.
