Abstract

This study investigates how social support can help visually impaired people learn skills through music training. The main aim of this research is to find out how participation by blind people can develop skills, such as cooperation, independence and communication, due to support and social interaction from their environment. This research was conducted through a qualitative case study. Data was collected through observations of music training participants and in-depth interviews with instructors, supporters and participants. The role of social support from individuals and groups and its impact on the soft skills studied are considered in the analysis. The research results show that social support provided by the instructor, fellow participants, and the surrounding environment is very important to foster self-confidence, improve communication skills, and encourage participants to actively participate in music activities. In music training, collaborative processes foster technical learning and enhance participants' social and emotional experiences. This study provides new insights into how inclusive music training can significantly improve the soft skills of individuals with visual impairments. The conclusions of this research can help in the development of more efficient training programs that improve their overall quality of life.
