Abstract

The use of social media has become an integral part of daily life, particularly among the younger generation. Instagram, with its Instagram Reels feature, offers a platform for delivering educational messages through short video content. This final report aims to explore the results of using Instagram as a medium for disseminating Islamic teachings, focusing on hadiths. Data were collected through observation and analysis of video content created by the author. The results indicate that Instagram Reels can reach a broader and younger audience, who tend to consume information in short and visual formats. The author's reflection on the content creation process shows that using Instagram as an educational medium not only allows for widespread dissemination of information but also encourages creativity and innovation in conveying religious messages. The author's physical limitations did not hinder this process; instead, they motivated the author to be more meticulous and creative in producing informative and engaging content. This research affirms that Instagram Reels has significant potential as an educational tool for conveying Islamic values to the younger generation. By effectively utilizing social media, it is hoped that their understanding and awareness of religious teachings can be enhanced more deeply and contextually.
