Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop basic literacy-based rhythmic gymnastics movements for grade 1 elementary school students. This is done because children now tend to spend more time on gadgets than writing or reading books and when at home children rarely move, they mostly spend time in front of cellphones. Therefore, literacy-based development will be carried out, so that children in grade 1 elementary school can get a better and more holistic learning experience. Not only that, this research will also produce a new innovation in PJOK learning activities for basic rhythmic gymnastics movements to make them more effective based on literacy which can help students increase literacy motivation in basic rhythmic gymnastics movements. This research uses the ADDIE research and development model including (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). The subjects of this research were class I students at SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau, totaling 26 participants. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. This research instrument uses two guidelines, namely qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The validation results from the gymnastics expert got a percentage score of 98%, the material expert scored 96,6%, and the literacy expert scored 96%, very valid for implementation. The student response received a score of 96,7% in the strongly agree category. Based on these results, it is stated that basic movements in literacy-based rhythmic gymnastics can be applied at SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau.
