Abstract
Based on the analysis of needs in Grade IV at SDN Krembung 1, which was conducted through observation and interviews on October 3, 2023, it was found that there were issues during the Indonesian Language lessons. Specifically, teachers were using less varied instructional media, resulting in decreased student engagement and difficulty in understanding the explained materials. Therefore, based on these issues, this study aims to develop an interactive PowerPoint learning media using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model for Indonesian Language lessons at Elementary School.
This research follows the Research and Development (R&D) methodology. The researcher developed electronic media using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This model is systematically structured to address learning problems related to appropriate learning resources and student characteristics.
From the research findings, to assess student understanding, the researcher administered evaluation tests that were independently completed, yielding an average score of 89. This is reinforced by student survey responses, which indicated a 96% approval rating, indicating strong engagement with the media. Additionally, teacher survey responses showed an 86% approval rating, indicating suitability for use. Validation by experts showed an 86% validation rate for content and an 89% validation rate for the media, confirming that the interactive PowerPoint media is both valid and suitable for implementation in schools.
