Abstract

Background: Sleep is an unconscious state that can be awakened by giving sensory stimulation or other stimuli. The role of the nurse as a provider of comprehensive nursing care that includes bio-psycho- socio-spiritual where nurses must be able to provide the entire continuous nursing process. Research objective: To identify the effect of ablution on adolescent sleep quality. Research design: The research design is a literature study with a sample of 10 journals, related to the influence of ablution. Data collection was carried out by searching data based on published article data through Google Scholar, Proquest, and NCBI. The data was then assessed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) and data extraction was carried out. Results: The effect of ablution on the quality of adolescent sleep as explained in the journal that relaxing ablution before going to bed can improve the sleep quality of adolescents who have sleep disorders, there are also several journals that have also conducted research on the elderly and performing ablution therapy before going to bed can reduce the level of sleep disturbances.
