Abstract

Initial research results show that class V students, especially class V A, SDN Balearjosari 1 Malang still find mathematics subjects difficult to learn. This bad assumption makes it difficult for students to learn mathematics material, because many still don't memorize multiplication. Judging from the conditions when studying mathematics, students tend to have the characteristic of liking learning while playing. So that students do not think mathematics is difficult and scary, students can be given interactive learning media. This research aims to find out: to determine the effect of Domino Card Multiplication on learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of class V students at SDN Balearjosari 1 Malang.
This research uses quantitative research and the type of research carried out is pre-experimental research with a One group Pretest-Posttest design. As a research sample, 19 class V A students of SDN Balearjosari 1 Malang were selected, for the 2023/2024 academic year. This research was carried out on March 27 and 28 2024 through several stages, in the first stage students were given a pretest, then in the second stage they were given treatment and in the third stage they were given a posttest.
The results of the research show that there is an influence of the multiplication domino card game on the learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of class V A students at SDN Balearjosari 1 Malang. With a significance value of 0.000<0.05, obtained that the pretest value is 64.74 and the posttest value is 82.11. So there is a difference in the average increase in test results, namely 17.37. So the result of this research is that the Domino Multiplication Card Game was welcomed very enthusiastically by students so that it had an influence on the learning outcomes in the cognitive domain of class V A students at SDN Balearjosari 1 Malang.
