Abstract

Learning media is media that can help teachers in the learning process so that students can easily understand the lessons given. Based on the results of interviews and observations conducted at SDN Gadingkulon 01 Dau class 1, students had problems recognizing and remembering the names of flat shapes, and students had difficulty knowing and calculating the sides and corner points of flat shapes. Based on the needs analysis above, the Snakes and Ladders Pop Up Learning Media product in flat shape material was developed so that students can increase their understanding and motivation for learning in flat shape material for class I Elementary School.
In the research and development of the Snakes and Ladders Pop Up learning media, researchers used the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques
The results of developing the Snakes and Ladders Pop Up learning media based on the validation results of material experts were 87.5% with very good qualifications and validation of learning media experts was 97% with very good qualifications. And based on the results of development research, the Snake and Ladder Pop Up media is suitable for use and the response from class I students is very good. So that the Snakes and Ladders Pop Up media can be used as a supporting tool for elementary school class I Mathematics learning. However, this media has shortcomings and requires innovation and improvement for future researchers. As a result of this research, it is recommended that the Snakes and Ladders Pop Up learning media be used as a template for developing other learning media that can support successful learning.
