Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance with moderation of job satisfaction at PT Lintang Borneo Mandiri Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative with saturated sampling technique. The research sample is all employees of the production division of PT Lintang Borneo Mandiri Indonesia, totaling 40 people. The data analysis techniques used are T test and MRA. The results showed that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a negative moderating impact on the relationship between motivation and employee performance. This means that the higher the level of job satisfaction of employees, the weaker the influence of motivation on their performance. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that motivation and job satisfaction have a positive influence on employee performance. Job satisfaction also negatively moderates the effect of motivation on employee performance. Therefore, companies need to provide motivation and increase employee job satisfaction in order to improve employee performance.
