The existence of enrichment books with fairy tale material at this time is still considered inadequate to meet the challenges of 21st century learning. Existing enrichment books still discuss the basic material of fairy tales such as the meaning of fairy tales, types of fairy tales, and the elements in fairy tales, and there is no multimedia that can support students in learning. further. Therefore, a solution is needed in the form of an enrichment book with more innovative fairy tale material and the addition of multimedia in it. This research aims to explain the preparation of an enrichment book for Indonesian language subjects with fairy tale material for class VI based on the publishing standards of PT Intan Pariwara, as well as explaining the completion of making audiovisual media in an enrichment book with material for grade VI Indonesian fairy tales.
The type of research used is Research & Development (R&D) with a qualitative approach. This research went through several stages, namely needs analysis, design, development. Data was collected using library study techniques.
The research results obtained were that enrichment books with fairy tale material were really needed because they contained features that were not in PT Intan Pariwara's previous enrichment books. The enrichment book with fairy tale material is prepared with steps and stages in the process of preparing the enrichment book in accordance with PT Intan Pariwara standards. These steps include planning, drafting the manuscript, and compiling the book. Then solving the problem of creating audiovisual media in books enriching fairy tale material for grade 6 elementary school is by carrying out needs analysis, design and development.
