Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of servant leadership on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable on employees of PT Joyo Makmur (Amadanom Village, Dampit District, Malang Regency). The study used quantitative methods, with the entire population totaling 45 respondents. Data sources were obtained from primary and secondary data. The analysis tool uses path analysis, consisting of servant leadership with a very good category showing that the leadership role is going well, employee performance with a very good category shows that performance is rated very well, and work motivation with very high category results proves the amount of encouragement within employees to meet needs. The results of the servant leadership path analysis have an indirect effect on employee performance through work motivation. The results showed that servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance, and servant leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with work motivation as a mediating variable.
