Abstract

This research aims to determine Work Load (X1) and Job Insecurity (X2) on Organizational Commitment (Y) of Batu City Inspectorate Employees. The sample in this study was 41 people, corresponding to all employees at the Batu City Inspectorate. Data analysis techniques used in this research include validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multicollinearity tests, multiple linear analysis, t tests and f tests. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results of the research show that in the validity test each question item on the variables (Workload, Job Insecurity and Organizational Commitment) has a significance value of <0.05, so the data is declared valid. Furthermore, in the reliability test, each variable has a cronbqach alpha value > 0.60 so that the question is declared reliable. Then, in the t test, it is known that each variable has a significance value of t < 0.05 and a value of tcount > ttable so that workload and job insecurity have no significant effect on organizational commitment.
