Abstract
Background: The high level of discipline and work productivity nurse will create better
quality and quantity of work that will be completed on time, thus directly improving the
quality of service in the hospital. However, discipline and work productivity issues are
issues that deserve attention, because the presence of discipline and work productivity not
only shows an indication of a decrease in employee morale, but can also affect the
effectiveness and efficiency of achieving the goals of the organization, institution or
hospital (Chusminah, 2019).
Method: The research uses a descriptive design with a sample of 12 nurses in the Inpatient
Installation of Kanjuruhan Regional General Hospital, which is determined by total
sampling technique The research instrument uses the Discipline and Work Productivity
questionnaire The collected data is analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis
techniques.
Results:. This study shows that nurses in the fatahillah room of Kanjuruhan Hospital have
a high level of discipline as much as 83% and work productivity as much as 100% with a
moderate category, from a total of 12 nurses.
Conclusion: Nurses in the fatahillah room of Kanjuruhan Hospital have a high level of
discipline, but the work productivity of their nurses is in the medium category.
