Abstract
Background : Sectio Caesarea (SC) is performed by making an incision in the uterine wall, causing a large surgical scar. The surgical wound also causes pain so that it often makes mothers feel worried and afraid to move so that the process of fulfilling Activity Daily Living (ADL) is hampered.
Objective : To determine the relationship between early mobilization and the daily living activity of post sectio caesarea mothers
Methods : This research was conducted in the maternity ward of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang Hospital using an accidental sampling of 10 post sectio caesarea patients. The questionnaire used to collect data is an early mobilization assessment sheet and the Barthel Index. Data were processed by statistical test analysis using Chi-square.
Results: The results of the statistical tests in this study showed good results, where on day 3 the p value or sig value (0.035) <α (0.05), meaning that there is a relationship between early mobilization and activity daily living of post sectio caesarea mothers
Conclusion : This study shows that post sectio caesarea patients have Activity Daily Living after carrying out early mobilization.
