Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial leadership and work motivation on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees of batik businesses in Probolinggo. The study is motivated by the importance of employees’ voluntary behavior in supporting organizational effectiveness, particularly in businesses that often face limited resources. The low level of participation in organizational activities, lack of initiative in assisting co-workers, and limited involvement in business development indicate the need to enhance OCB. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. Data were collected through questionnaires supported by observation and interviews and were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the effect of each variable. The results indicate that entrepreneurial leadership has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. Simultaneously, both variables were proven to improve extra-role behaviors that support organizational effectiveness. Furthermore, work motivation was identified as the most dominant variable influencing Organizational Citizenship Behavior. The findings suggest that the implementation of innovative, proactive, result-oriented leadership that empowers employees, combined with high work motivation, can encourage the development of voluntary behaviors that contribute positively to the organization. Therefore, improving leadership quality and work motivation should become a primary concern in human resource management to enhance work effectiveness, productivity, employee cooperation, and support sustainable business growth and development.
