HUBUNGAN PENYULUHAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP IBU MENGENAI STUNTING DI PUSKESMAS WONOREJO

Stunting is a chronic nutritional condition that can occur during the early stages of growth and development. It is characterized by a child being shorter than 2 standard deviations below the World Health Organization (WHO) growth curve due to the impact of inadequate nutrition intake and repeated infections during the first 1000 days of life. Maternal knowledge and attitudes are among the risk factors for stunting. The mother's knowledge plays a crucial role in determining how her child will grow and develop. Mothers should have knowledge about providing proper nutrition, maintaining a clean and healthy lifestyle, and adopting appropriate parenting practices. To change maternal knowledge and attitudes, one intervention that can be implemented is through health education aimed at empowering the community to control decisions and actions related to health behavior.
