OPTIMALISASI TATA LETAK GUDANG SPAREPART PADA PT GILANG SEMBILAN SEMBILAN

This study aims to optimize the layout of the spare parts warehouse at PT Gilang Sembilan Sembilan (Juragan 99 Trans) due to the presence of numerous empty shelves, unclassified goods placement, and poor accessibility. The methods used were Miles and Huberman to reduce data, Cause and Effect Analysis (CEA) to identify root causes, and Class-Based Storage (CBS) to design a layout based on the frequency of goods movement. The results showed that the existing layout was suboptimal. CBS successfully increased space utilization from 60% to 83.47%, a 23.47% increase. The proposed layout also reduced moving distances and accelerated the retrieval process.
