Abstract

Learning media part important from the learning process. Media can make implementation learning walk with good. Learning media can makes it easier activity delivery information for student and teachers. Use of learning media must answer need learners, so they can stimulate motivation or interest learn. By No direct motivation or interest Study student will influence Skills think critical Study This aim For developing learning media snake ladder For increase Skills think critical shiva. Type study form quasi experiment with design nonequivalent control group. Study This done on student class VII H and VII I at UPT SMP Negeri 4 Gresik. Evaluation Skills think critical using the cognitive level with HOTS questions consisting of from analyzing (C4), evaluating (C5), creating (C6). Instrument data collection uses rubric ability think critical with analyze level categories that include very less (< 20), poor (21-40), fair (41-60), good (61-80) and very good (81-100). Data collection with use question pre-test And post-test. Test used _ For analyzing skills data think critical is One- Way ANCOVA. Development of learning media snake ladder applied on class experiment while learning media without game snake ladder applied on class control. Results research class experiment amounted to 48.43 whereas class control 32.35. Based on results study the show that enhancement ability think critical class experiment more tall than class control. Results test One-Way ANOCVA shows that give influence in learning media snake ladder For increase Skills think critical student get results significant with value 0.00015 < 0.05. So that can concluded that there is influence development of learning media snake ladder For increase Skills think critical students.
