Abstract

Songs are all around us because they are a part of every element of human life. However, people frequently believe that their profound experiences are limited to momentary times. In other words, most people frequently downplay the song's impact because they are unaware of its hidden potency. songs can be utilized to teach all aspects of a foreign language with a little inventiveness. Use of song lyrics in the development of English language learning media. The songs utilized are well-known songs. As a result, it can be utilized by students, teachers, or the community at large to facilitate students' learning of English. The song’s messages can influence student’s thinking and their responses. Students are instructed to perform the activity of changing the lyrics as part of the learning process through the use of musical media. From the input they receive, they attempt to create an output, namely the result of changing the lyrics, and then decide whether to do so when they begin to present the song and develop their speaking abilities. This study examines how speaking skills are affected by learning media including changing lyrics activities.
In this instance media is unquestionably required in a learning system, particularly when learning to speak English inside it, to assist learning achievement.
The use of song lyrics as learning tools has become very popular in the modern era of English study. Changes to song lyrics play a significant part in kids' intellectual, social, and emotional growth through learning. Because English is employed as a vital tool for communication and as a universal language for the community, its use as creative learning media and its impact on learning are key. Understanding how modifying song lyrics in English affects English language skills including speaking abilities, cognitive abilities, and can broaden students' vocabulary is crucial to understanding the efficiency of a learning medium.
