Abstract
Learning media acts as a tool that facilitates the realization of students interacting directly between the work of a subject developer and students. There are still many students who are not focused and interested in the learning process in class, especially in the material of energy changes, because teachers still teach using lecture methods and simple facilities, the lack of facilities and infrastructure in schools makes students easily bored during learning, with the existence of learning media, teachers can more easily convey material directly to students, so that students will also find it easier to understand the material taught thanks to the help of the media. The purpose of this study is to create interesting and interactive learning media, namely the snake and ladder game, which is expected to be able to arouse the enthusiasm of fourth grade students in learning science.
The method used in this study is to use the Research and Development method. In development research, researchers need research design. The design of this study is based on the modification of the development research model that has been developed and designed by the educational institution. This study was conducted at SDN Sumbergondo 02 Batu, the source of data in this study was the homeroom teacher of grade 4 as interview information. The results of this study are that the medial permanent model of this study was then used in renal learning activities and has been validated by medical experts who have a percentage of 88% and the validation of media experts has a percentage of 90%. This permanent learning media functions by providing feedback on the learning process in order to attract students' attention, students' enthusiasm, and also high learning outcomes which can be seen from the results of the student response questionnaire.
