Abstract

Work effectiveness, which is impacted by proper management and leadership, is essential to organizational success. Using Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as an intervening variable, this study examines how teamwork and transformational leadership affect employee performance. 50 employees served as samples for the quantitative investigation, which was carried out at BKPSDM Batu City. The findings demonstrate that OCB and employee performance are positively and significantly impacted by transformational leadership. On the other hand, teamwork significantly affects OCB while having a favorable but negligible effect on performance. However, there was no discernible impact of OCB on worker performance. In summary, cooperation is more successful in forming OCB, yet transformational leadership is crucial for enhancing performance and OCB. In order to promote proactive work behavior and boost organizational effectiveness, this research emphasizes the necessity of good leadership.
