Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the education system drastically, including English language learning at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). This research aims to analyze student perceptions of post-pandemic online learning and identify the benefits and challenges they face. Using descriptive quantitative methods, data was collected through questionnaires involving 100 students from various study programs. The research results show that most students prefer face-to-face learning because of the material's ease of understanding. However, online education is still considered a flexible and effective alternative if supported by adequate facilities. This study recommends a combination of online and offline methods to increase the effectiveness of learning in the future.
