Abstract

This study “aims to use an explanatory quantitative method using a sample of 33 employees at PT Berkah Pulau Laut in South Kalimantan to investigate the relationship between work productivity and quality of work life (QWL). The data was analysed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The data was acquired using a questionnaire and a saturation sampling technique.” The results show that QWL has a positive and significant effect on work productivity, with the higher the employee's productivity, the more productive the company implements it. However, the relationship between QWL and work productivity was not significantly moderated by the work environment. The implications of this study are that the company needs to focus on developing programs to improve employee work life quality through comprehensive attention to welfare aspects, career development, and work-life balance to drive work productivity. The findings highlight the importance of strategic human resource management in enhancing organizational performance.
