Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategies implemented by the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) Karya Bakti in managing the Seloaji Village Market to increase Village Original Revenue (PADes) in Ngiliran Village. The study focuses on the implementation of strategies applied by BUMDes Karya Bakti to address various challenges in the Seloaji Village Market and examines the supporting and inhibiting factors in the management process.

This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and analysis of supporting documents from BUMDes Karya Bakti Information was obtained from three main sources: the Chairman of BUMDes Karya Bakti, employees of Seloaji Market, and the community who benefit from the market. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to provide a comprehensive picture of the management strategies of Seloaji Village Market.

The results of the research indicate that the strategies implemented by BUMDes in managing the Seloaji Village Market to increase village revenue encompass programs, budgets, and procedures. In terms of programs, the village market creates investment opportunities for the community, leverages local resources, fosters partnerships, and enhances supporting facilities and infrastructure. Regarding the budget, the annual net profit is allocated for market development, profit distribution to investors, and operational improvements. However, market management still faces challenges in the procedural aspect due to the absence of structured and documented Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for market operations. Supporting factors include active community participation, a strategic location, and a focus on promoting local products, whereas inhibiting factors include the lack of procedural clarity and suboptimal management of the parking lot.
