Abstract
This study explores the optimization of lead time through the implementation of administrative digitization at CV Tunas Abadi, which has been relying on manual systems such as Order Letters and Excel. A qualitative descriptive method was employed to describe and analyze phenomena based on in-depth empirical data. The DMADV (Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, Verify) methodology was used to identify key challenges, develop digital solution designs, and validate their effectiveness. The findings reveal that administrative digitization successfully reduced lead time for ready-stock items from 9 days to 6 days and for pre-order items from 18 days to 15 days. This process also improved administrative efficiency by 50% for ready-stock items and 25% for pre-order items. The implementation of an integrated web-based system enhanced departmental coordination, expedited decision-making, and minimized data inaccuracies. Moreover, real-time communication enabled by the system effectively supported order tracking, positively impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This study confirms that administrative digitization is a strategic solution to improve organizational competitiveness by reducing lead time and enhancing process efficiency.
