Abstract

Testing the Surabaya Intelligent Transport System (SITS) website uses the Black Box Testing method with the Equivalence Partitioning technique. With the increasing utilization of information technology, the importance of software testing becomes increasingly crucial to ensure the system functions according to user needs. This research began with data collection through interviews with the development team to determine the specifications of the features being tested. Next, the testing criteria were established based on the types of data used on the website, followed by defining valid and invalid partitions for each criterion. Test data were compiled based on the predetermined partitions, and testing was conducted manually to evaluate each system function. The results of the testing demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in meeting the expected specifications, then provide improvement recommendations to enhance the quality of the SITS website and suggest for future research to expand the scope of testing, including non-functional testing such as security and performance in subsequent studies. This research is expected to contribute to the improvement of public service quality through better information technology.
