Background: Nursing is a health profession that focuses on efforts to handle patient care or care for patients with job demands that vary based on job characteristics. Nurses can feel burdened with a heavy workload because it will have an impact on nurses' high work stress which will affect the physiological, psychological and behavioral factors of the nurses themselves. This study aims to determine the description of the workload and stress levels of nurses in the emergency room at Aisyiyah Hospital, Bojonegoro.
Method: In this research, the data collection method was carried out using qualitative research methods, collecting data found during field research. Data analysis used spearman correlation.
Results: Based on the results of a questionnaire to nurses in the emergency room at Aisyiyah Hospital, there were 19 nurses with 11 male nurses and 8 female nurses, 63% of nurses were over 30 years old, 21,1% of nurses were 26-30 years old, 15,8% of nurses were <25 years old, 100% of nurses have a bachelor’s degree in nursing. The results of the spearman correlation test showed that p-value =
