KONSTRUKSI TANDA TANDA NILAI CINTA DALAM LIRIK LAGU DEWA 19 ( Analisis Semiotika Lagu Laskar Cinta Dan Dua Sejoli)

This study focuses on the construction of signs of love values reflected in the lyrics of the songs "Laskar Cinta" and "Dua Sejoli" by the music group Dewa 19. Using Ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis method, this study examines how language elements in song lyrics represent the value of love and communicate emotional messages to listeners. This study found that the lyrics contain deep meanings about love that include emotions, intimacy, and universal messages about unity, peace, and harmony. The results of this study are expected to provide a deep understanding of the expression of love in Indonesian popular music, as well as add to the literature references in the study of music semiotics. Thus, this study illustrates how music becomes an effective communication tool to convey social values and human emotions. The findings of this study also provide theoretical benefits for semiotic literature and practical benefits for society's understanding of the meaning of love in popular music.
