Abstract
This research aims to design and develop a simple, efficient, and cost-effective automatic door system. The system utilizes an Arduino Uno as the control center, a PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor to detect motion, and a DC motor as an actuator. The operating principle of the system is that when the PIR sensor detects motion, the Arduino sends a signal to the DC motor to move the door. The research results show that the designed automatic door system can work well as expected, opening and closing the door automatically when motion is detected.
It is hoped that this research can contribute to the advancement of more sophisticated and effective automatic door technology in the future.
