Abstract

This research examines the influence of leadership style on organizational commitment through work motivation as a variable intervening at PT. Pegadaian Cabang Blimbing. This research was conducted with a sample size of 45 respondents. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling techniques with the saturated sampling method. This research uses a quantitative approach, using interviews and surveis via questionnaires distributed to PT. Pegadaian Cabang Blimbing. Data collection uses questionnaires. The data analysis methods used are scale range and path analysis (path analysis) assisted with software SmartPLS 3.0. Data analysis was carried out using path analysis (path analysis) to test the relationship between variables independent (leadership style), variable depend (organizational commitment), and variables intervening (work motivation). The research results show that leadership style has a significant effect on organizational commitment, leadership style has a significant effect on work motivation, and work motivation has a significant effect on organizational commitment. Further analysis shows that work motivation mediates the influence of leadership style on organizational commitment.
