Abstract

This research examines South Korea's success in cultural diplomacy through the Korean Wave phenomenon, especially through Korean dramas and K-pop music, as well as initiatives to promote the country's culture through gastrodiplomacy. The Jinny's Kitchen reality show program is an example of gastrodiplomacy efforts that utilize digital media platforms to promote Korean products and food. This research highlights the use of prominent South Korean celebrities, opening restaurants in cities unfamiliar with Korean cuisine, and menu innovation as key strategies to attract the attention of Mexicans and global audiences. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach through working papers, journals, books and articles related to the research topic. The results of the research show that Jinny's Kitchen's success as a form of gastrodilomacy is reflected in the positive impact and customer acceptance of Korean culinary culture in the country. This success then encouraged the holding of Korean-themed festivals and events in Mexico where Korean food was the main attraction.
