Abstract

Character education Character education in the current era of globalization has a very important role for every individual, especially students, to become civilized human beings expected by society, nation, and state. Helping a person to understand, heed, and practice core moral values. Character education is a deliberate (conscious) effort to realize virtue, that is, objectively good human qualities, both for individuals but also for society as a whole.
The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation of habituation and evaluation that must be carried out in the implementation of character education through As-Sunnah habituation in grade IV students of SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu. The type of research conducted is qualitative with resource persons such as the Principal, homeroom teachers, students and students involved in the implementation of the character education program.
The results obtained in the research on character education through the habituation of As-Sunnah in its practice, there are several obstacles that focus on the fact that there are still some students who do not carry out the habituation program in the school environment to the maximum. Conduct an evaluation once a week on Friday which is attended by the principal and all teachers to find shortcomings and advantages during the implementation of the As-Sunnah implementation program.
