Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of work discipline on teacher performance with
compensation as a moderating. The research focuses on honorary teachers in
elementary schools within the Arjasa District of the Kangean Archipelago. The study
employs explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population consists of
44 honorary teachers in the aforementioned area, with the sample determined through
total sampling, thereby including the entire population in the study. Data was collected
using questionnaires. The results indicate that work discipline significantly affects
teacher performance, compensation significantly influences teacher performance, and
teacher performance.
