Abstract

The Inquiry Model is a learning strategy that stimulates, teaches and invites students to think critically, analytically and systematically in order to find answers independently to the various problems raised. The Inquiry learning model is a learning strategy that stimulates, teaches and invites students to think critically, analytically and systematically which aims to help students develop intellectual and other skills. Meanwhile, guided inquiry is a learning model that emphasizes the ability to think critically and logically to solve a problem through the necessary instructions from the teacher. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is a method used to identify, evaluate, and interpret research results that are relevant to a particular research question, or topic area, or phenomenon of concern. The aim of this research is to determine the trend of publications examining the guided inquiry learning model in Biology subjects in Indonesia. The type of research and approach used is a systematic literature review with a qualitative and percentage approach. According to (Rahayu & Hozizah, 2021) systematic literature review is a research methodology or specific research and development carried out to collect and evaluate research related to a particular topic focus. The results of research on trends in the number of publications examining the application of the guided inquiry learning model in Biology subjects tend to be facultative in nature. The publication trend from 2016 to 2019 experienced an increase, but from 2020 to 2023 there was another significant increase. Factors influencing the decreasing number of trends in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid-19.
