Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of training and compensation on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at PT Ciomas Adisatwa Sidoarjo. This research uses quantitative methods. The sample in this study amounted to 66 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire distributed to employees via Google Form. The analysis technique uses path analysis with SPSS software version 23. The data analysis method used is the T-test. Partial research results show that training and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance. Training provided by the company is able to equip employees with relevant skills, while competitive compensation encourages improved performance. In addition, job satisfaction also plays an important role as a mediator, where employee job satisfaction increases effectiveness and efficiency at work, thus contributing to improved performance. Good training and adequate compensation are proven to increase job satisfaction, which in turn motivates employees to perform better. Based on these findings, researchers provide recommendations to PT Ciomas Adisatwa Sidoarjo to develop more effective training programs and improve work facilities to support employee performance.
