Abstract
Background : Hemorrhoids are a common anorectal condition that affects millions of people throughout the world, causing problems both medically and socio-economically. Based on data from WHO (World Health Organization) in 2014, it is estimated that around 230 million people in the world suffer from hemorrhoids. This number is predicted to increase to 350 million people per year by 2030, with an estimated prevalence of hemorrhoids that will increase by around 5.9%. describe patient management.
Objective : The aim of this research is to determine the effect of analgesic therapy and deep breathing relaxation therapy on pain in Ms. N with a post-op diagnosis of grade III hemorrhoids.
Method : used is a case study with a nursing process approach through interviews (anamnesis), observation, reviewing documents and analyzing problems.
Results : After administering analgesic therapy and deep breathing relaxation techniques for 4 days, the results showed that there was a periodic decrease in pain levels with different pain scales every day. Until the results were obtained, on the last day the pain decreased by 1 level
Conclusion : Providing pain management can reduce the level of pain in post-op hemorrhoid garde III patients.
