Abstract
Public Relations campaigns are well-planned public relations activities that usually have specific durations and objectives. Public Relations campaigns aim to increase public awareness and knowledge about an organization's activities. Similarly, the campaign conducted by the Non-Ministerial Government Institution, the National Narcotics Agency of Batu City, also aims to raise awareness and knowledge among the people of Batu City about the dangers of drug abuse. This research refers to five objectives of implementing public relations campaign activities, namely Public Awareness, Offer Information, Public Education, Reinforce the attitudes and behaviour, and behaviour modifications. The type of this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach, and the data collection techniques in this study use interviews and observations. The results obtained from this study indicate that the BNN Kota Batu implements several approaches to demonstrate the importance of public relations campaigns in building collective awareness in the community. The public relations campaign activities carried out by BNN Kota Batu include direct interaction by providing counselling to the community, as well as approaching by inserting educational information into various student events such as BEM events. Another approach taken by BNN Kota Batu is using outdoor media such as billboards, billboards, and video trons, while also utilizing social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter to reach a wider and more diverse audience.
