Abstract
PJOK learning or Physical Education Sports and Health is learning that dominantly uses practice. In addition to practice, there is also a theory that must be understood by students so that learning is balanced. In learning PJOK, there must be mastery of the materials taught in elementary school. One of them is material related to self-defense that can be conveyed to students.
The research and development conducted is the Dick and Carey R&D model. The Dick and Carey model is very suitable for implementation in small-scale e-learning, such as in units, modules, or lessons. The research method used is the model research method. The method used is the Self Direct Learning method through 5 stages.
The development of this research is carried out to produce products in the form of challenge Postal games and Guidebooks that are used as references for PJOK subjects, especially in self-defense material. The results of product validity get a percentage of material validation results of 89.2% and the results of teaching material validation of 87.5% with the description of materials and teaching materials are very feasible and do not need to be revised so that researchers conduct direct research in elementary schools. The student response questionnaire to self-defense material reached 68% so that it can be concluded that learning self-defense is interesting and can do the challenge chain post game in the PJOK learning process. The results of the teaching material trial obtained the average student score of 80.5. So it can be said that the Guidebook teaching materials, post games and LKS are effective to be used as teaching materials in carrying out learning in the classroom.
