Abstract
This research aims to test and prove empirically the influence of political
connections, ownership structure and gender diversity of the board of
commissioners on financial performance in mining companies. The object of this
research is financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020 -
2022. Data was obtained from documentation by collecting financial report data
and company annual reports to obtain the required information. The technique for
determining the number of samples in this research uses the Purposive Sampling
method with a total sample of 31 companies for 3 years. The data analysis technique
in this research uses the panel data regression testing method with the Stata
statistical tool. The results of this research indicate that Political Connection
influences the Company's Financial Performance. Managerial Ownership
influences the Company's Financial Performance. Institutional Ownership
influences Company Financial Performance. The gender diversity of the Board of
Commissioners has no effect on the Company's Financial Performance.
