Abstract
The increasingly advanced development of the world makes people
increasingly aware of their health. Constant work in a static position for a long
period of time can cause neck pain. Cervical Root Syndrome (CRS) is a clinical
condition caused by compression of the nerve roots located in the cervical area.
This study aims to analyze the effect of neck calliet exercise on pain in cervical root
syndrome patients. Quasi experimental research with pre-test. The population in
this study was 30 cervical root syndrome patients who experienced pain with a
sample of 28. The independent variables were neck calliet exercise and pain level.
This research uses tools in the form of 1) Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) observation
which contains several numbers to determine the pain and 2) standard operational
procedures for Neck Calliet Exercise. Analysis used paired t test/Wilcoxon (0.05).
Based on the results of the p-value of 0.000, which shows that the analysis is
significant, a = <0.05, it can be concluded that there is an effect of neck calliet
exercise on pain in cervical root syndrome patients. As input for patients and their
families as well as for the public to realize the importance of knowing neck calliet
exercises to reduce pain in cervical root syndrome patients
