Abstract
This study discusses the relationship between incentives and wages on work productivity through work motivation. Incentives and wages are rewards given by companies to employees with the aim of maintaining company productivity. Motivation is considered a mediating variable that influences engagement to help produce increased employee work productivity. The results of the study indicate that incentives have a positive effect on work productivity, but do not have a significant effect on work productivity. And wages have a positive effect on work productivity, and also have a significant effect on work productivity. Path analysis also shows that incentives have an indirect effect on work productivity through work motivation, and wages have an indirect effect on work productivity through work motivation. These results have practical implications that companies must ensure that the incentives provided by the company are improved in order to provide increased results for work productivity and work motivation for employees.
