Abstract
Teaching media is something what we can use to share the message, it can stimulate attention, interest, students’ thought and feeling in learning activities. As one of component of learning system, media has a critical role in learning process. Learning media uses to help students’ understanding the learning process and what they are learning. Teacher must deciding what media could use and the best for his students and teacher must be familiar with many types of teaching media in order to deliver course effectively and quickly.
The aim of study is to find out the what is the learning media used by teacher in 3 grede class and to find out the Advantages using the learning media used by teacher in 3 grade class.
Qualitative descriptive is used in this study by doing observation and analyzing the interview. The subject in this study is teacher and students of SD Muhammadiyah 08 Malang that teach about using media in the class.
The third-grade classroom employs a variety of learning media to enhance instructional practices and engage students effectively. These include videos, audio recordings, text materials, whiteboards, PowerPoint presentations, and educational software and apps. Each medium serves a specific purpose, such as providing visual and auditory stimuli, developing listening skills, offering structured content, facilitating interactive teaching, and introducing an element of interactivity and personalization. Moreover, the integration of these media brings numerous advantages to the educational experience. Videos simplify complex concepts, audio recordings aid in language learning, text materials support reading comprehension, whiteboards encourage active participation, PowerPoint presentations offer visual appeal, and educational software and apps make learning enjoyable and adaptive. These advantages underscore the importance of using diverse instructional media to create an effective and inclusive learning environment, benefiting both students and teachers.
