Abstract

With the establishment of Malang Town Square (MATOS) in the area of education causes many pros and cons of particular students and students residing in these locations. Because the location is right in front Matos SMU Negeri 8 Malang, then from there comes the problem of how a negative psychological impact on the caused of the founding Matos against SMU Negeri 8 Malang student. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of negative psychological establishment Matos against SMU Negeri 8 Malang student. This research use descriptive research using qualitative research methods, using samples that match the criteria in this study amounted to 6 people research subjects. Data collection techniques used were directed interview. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of research and data analysis found that the establishment Matos negative impact on SMU Negeri 8 Malang students, which consisted of cognitive effects, the subject of research in Matos said that if there is an event made the subject of research to be curious, learning impaired concentration, and some that have thought to play hooky. On the affective impact, says study subjects become increasingly dense traffic and air feels hotter because of the effects of air pollution from vehicle fumes. Most subjects felt frightened and disturbed by the establishment of density caused by Matos, and with many people passing by in front of their school cause sexual harassment. While the impact conative, most students admitted konsumtifnya behavior is increased, often absent, and all study subjects admitted every home from school often stop to Matos first.
