Psychologically, every human being including transvestites require the presence of others, and the tranquility and peace of mind that comes from a sense involved in a group whether it is a social group whose members have the ideas and behavior patterns are the same, or a group of society as a whole. It's not fear because ostracized and ridiculed as long as this is often experienced by transsexual. The study was a descriptive study aims to provide a description of the study subjects based on data from the variables obtained from the subjects under study and is not intended for testing hipoesis. Emotional maturity is the ability to manage their emotions, assess the situation critically, to have emotional stability when dealing with others which are marked by not "blow up" his emotions in front of others, able to critically assess the situation and have a stable mood. Perceptions of Social Acceptance is the ability of transvestites in understanding whether he accepted or selected for entry into the group, and because social acceptance is the person involved in social group activities. As indicated by the willingness to cooperate and not egocentric, to adapt to social expectations and do not adjust themselves to excess, participation and social activity. Measured on a scale of Perceptions of Social Acceptance. In this study samples used were transvestites who are members of as many as 45 people Iwama sample. When the study 15 to 22 March 2006. Measuring tool used is the scale of psychological measurement. Data analysis using product moment correlation. The results showed that emotional maturity transvestites tend to be high where based on research results to 45 people transsexual members Iwama, that 24 people (53.33%) had a high level of emotional maturity and 21 people (46.67%) had low levels of emotional maturity , which means the tendency of emotional maturity possessed high transvestites. Results of the perception of social acceptance of 45 people transvestites Iwama members showed that 24 people (53.33%) had levels that high perception of social acceptance, and 21 people (46.67%) had low levels of perceived social acceptance, which means the tendency of the perception of social acceptance transvestites held high.
