Abstract

Background : Implementation of nursing rounds that are less than optimal can be one of the factors that lengthens the patients treatment days in the hospital. Lack of implementation of nursing care also risks aggravating the patients illness and life expectancy. This condition will result in losses for patients and the quality of service at the hospital will become poor (Ananda, et al., 2021).
Method : The research method used in preparing this Final Scientific Work uses a case study report, includes : Assessment, Data Analysis, Nursing Intervention, Implementationand Evaluation. In the assessment process the author used various data collection techniques such as interview, observation, and documentation studies to collect various data from children inpatient rooms as well as various data about patients.
Result : The knowledge that nurses have about nursing rounds can influence nurses attitudes in carrying out nursing rounds.
Discussion : Nursing management problems in pediatric inpatient rooms are factor in not carrying out nursing rounds due to lack of knowledge regarding nursing management, especially nursing rounds and a less open attitude. The action that has been taken iscarrying out nursing rounds.
