In this Final Scientific Paper, the case of An.A who suffers from bronchitis is raised, previously the patient had never been hospitalized. For that reason, this final scientific paper aims to explain the Nursing Care process that is given.
Methods: The research method uses a case report. In the assessment process the author used data collection techniques such as Anamnesis, Observation, Documentation Study and Physical Examination to collect various data from patients and nurses. To complete the data, the author also conducted interviews with An.A.'s family. In this case the main interventions were oxygen administration, nebulizer inhalation therapy, chest physiotherapy and eucalyptus oil aromatherapy.
Results: After providing nursing care for 11 days from 22 December - 1 January 2024, the author raised 3 nursing diagnoses, namely: Ineffective Airway Clearance, Nutritional Deficit, and Hyperthermia. Of the 3 diagnoses, researchers prioritized one main diagnosis, namely "Ineffective Airway Clearance" with airway management interventions.
Conclusion: Nursing problems in case child An.A experienced an unstable condition in saturation and his condition was due to restlessness and difficulty when using an oxygen mask and difficulty in expelling phlegm resulting in the need for quite a long period of treatment. With this, the nurse monitors and provides nebulizer inhalation therapy, chest physiotherapy and eucalyptus oil aromatherapy to reduce the feeling of tightness by helping expel the phlegm inside.
